Beaux Tie Designs
A company founded by a breast cancer survivor and her husband, Mary and Ed Purkiss. 15% of everything you spend instantly becomes a donation to the Arizona Institute for Breast Health in your name. They carry a lot of pink ribbon items.
Bosom Buddy Breast Forms
Bosom Buddy® is a unique and wonderful answer for women who are searching for an external prosthesis which is cooler and more comfortable to wear than silicone models and available at a reasonable price! Bosom Buddy is all-fabric, with no silicone, plastic or rubber used in its construction. Because of the way it’s made, Bosom Buddy is lighter in weight than many breast forms and much easier to wear. And the weight is adjustable, so you can make it a little heavier or lighter as you prefer, or if your weight changes a bit. The company was originally founded in 1976 by Melva Smith, a Boise, Idaho woman who had undergone a radical mastectomy eleven years before and was unhappy with the prosthetic choices available to her.
Comfort Wraps are wonderful Post-Mastectomy robes (with pockets for drains) to comfort a woman's mind body and spirit. Designed and created by Marlene Lally, a breast cancer survivor. Made in the USA and proceeds benefit Living Beyond Breast Cancer and the American Cancer Society.

CJ Hats
Chemo hats designed for REAL women experiencing REAL chemo. As a survivor of inflammatory breast cancer, Mary Ann Weiss knows that women want hats that provide full coverage, are comfortable to wear, stylish, and affordable. She also carries post mastectomy pouches that hold the drains after surgery. I used these and they were very comfortable and gave me mobility while my drains were still in. Treatment left Mary Ann with some permanent side effects: physical problems, and certain disabling memory deficits which ended her ability to work at most jobs. Still needing food and shelter, she created CJ Hats.
Otherwise Healthy
Founded by Breast Cancer Survivor Lynda Shrager, Otherwise Healthy is an organizational system presented in a 6" by 9" three-ring binder. Fashioned after a daily planner, its pages, called Focusheets®, are worksheets designed to help you gather and document the right information to negotiate this journey, interspersed with text consisting of specific advice, anecdotal stories, humor and encouragement. Otherwise Healthy makes it easy to consolidate pertinent information into one book that is easily transportable and always available.
Personalized Designs by Judy
Judy is an almost 11 year breast cancer survivor. She makes personalized business cards, greeting cards, stationary, labels, stickers, magnets and calendars. She also donates to breast cancer causes proceeds from the sale of pink ribbon items. I haven't met Judy personally "yet" but know her well from her Together in Breast Cancer online support group. I've been a member of that group since I was first diagnosed, and her support is invaluable.
Precious Paws is a company founded by Elizabeth Frechette who successfully battled breast cancer at age 30. She carries towels, infant wear and t-shirts. I first learned of this company through MAMM magazine. In it Elizabeth writes: "Dogs don't have a schedule, they're not too busy for you. Your friends, your boyfriend, your husband, your wife, your parents--they still have to go about their lives. Dogs are the only ones that can lie around with you for eight or 10 hours. And they're not bored; they're not looking at their watches. There's just comfort from these dogs." I was moved by her words, since during my time at home recovering from surgery and going through chemo, my dog KC was right by my side also. Elizabeth donates a portion of her proceeds to breast cancer related charities and humane societies. She is helping to fight breast cancer "two paw prints at a time."

Healthy Eating for Life: Food Choices for Cancer Prevention and Survival (Free booklet)
Some dietary changes have a preventive effect for many types of cancer. Boosting your intake of vitamin-rich vegetables and fruits, for example, strengthens your immune system and helps knock out cancer cells. To help prevent cancer, it is also smart to avoid meats, dairy products, and fried foods. Choosing fiber-rich legumes, grains, vegetables, and fruits helps keep many types of cancer at bay. Plant foods also contain a wide variety of cancer-fighting substances called phytochemicals. These facts all point to choosing a vegetarian diet to help prevent cancer and improve cancer survival. Studies of vegetarians show that death rates from cancer are only about one-half to three-quarters of those of the general population.

Pink Lymphedema Alert Bracelet
Prior to any medical procedure it is imperative that patients with lymphedema or at risk to develop lymphedema, have a mechanism to alert medical professionals of their condition. Many times a patient is sedated or under anesthesia and can not protect or prevent at risk procedures such as, injections, blood draws, IV insertion, blood pressure readings ect. By donning a brightly colored Lymphedema Alertband on their wrist or ankle this will alert technicians to the risk.
